Episode 4
Ep.4 Low or no sexdrive when too much stress and tension is present in your body [relationships]
How do you destress ?
Do you feel how stressed you are ?
Do you feel the build up in tension inside of you ?
Does it creep up slowly or does it come out of nowhere ?
Tension and feeling stressed can have a deep impact on your sleeping habits, sex-drive, relationships, overall health.
So … DE-STRESS AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT :D
Is it a constant need for overindulgence ?
Is it drinking, eating, pills, scrolling, sex, excessive sport, masturbation, shopping, working even more and a deep need to numb out ?
OR
Naping, #walking , #breathwork , #meditation , singing, painting, acting, writing …..
What do you do to release stress and are you succeeding ?
Can you be your most loving, open, supportive self after de- stressing ?
Sometimes stress gets me to the point where I need to totally shut down and disconnect.
It makes it incredibly hard for people to reach me never mind connect with me.
A couple years ago I noticed which hobbies, activities I would engage in with the intention of relaxation but taking a deeper look I quickly realized that what I was doing was actually increasing stress and draining/ exhausting me even more.
Let’s have a closer look at what could genuinely support you.
What helps you most ?

Hello, hello and welcome to the Borealis
Unknown:experience. I'm your host Aurora, life coach and companion
Unknown:on this beautiful journey called life. Today, it's another day
Unknown:where I'm especially happy and somewhat relieved that I have
Unknown:this podcast. If you've been a listener for a year and a half
Unknown:if you've been there for or since the beginning, I mean, I'm
Unknown:so grateful to have you here on this journey. I'm so grateful to
Unknown:be growing with you and to connecting with you to learning
Unknown:from you. And to know that I can be a little stepping stone in
Unknown:your life on your path to yourself or to in direction of
Unknown:your goals and dreams. And if you're new here, I'm sending you
Unknown:a warm welcome. Thank you so much for being here for sharing
Unknown:some time and space together. And yeah, feel free to reach out
Unknown:to me connect with me on Facebook, Aurora Eggert, or
Unknown:Aurora Eggert coaching. And for everybody, if there's any topics
Unknown:you would like to have addressed, never hold back and
Unknown:just shoot me a message there. Today, I want to talk about
Unknown:tension and building up a buildup of tension and energy
Unknown:inside of your physique. That sometimes gets so intense that
Unknown:we feel the need to lash out and release it. And most of the time
Unknown:comes out in the most awkward ways or we can't quite
Unknown:understand why our body doesn't really function. Like we want it
Unknown:to function because we're not aware of the energy buildup that
Unknown:has happened over the day. It is really important to be aware of
Unknown:how you build up energy during the day. It can be very passive,
Unknown:through listening to the news, watching the news, scrolling
Unknown:through Facebook or integral Instagram, and having thoughts
Unknown:and feelings pop up that are not necessarily in the front, you
Unknown:know in your awareness, but run in the background like a
Unknown:software like an app sucking energy from you. It is really
Unknown:interesting to see how some news some people, some activities
Unknown:help us to be relaxed to be our best version. And then there is
Unknown:other content, other energies without being on getting to
Unknown:spiritual that we soak in, that are sucking energy out of us,
Unknown:drain us and even build up tension inside of us. So I want
Unknown:to raise awareness when it comes to that because I've talked
Unknown:about erectile dysfunction a couple weeks ago, now a couple
Unknown:months ago. And our sexual drive or sexual energy is intensely
Unknown:tied into how we feel as being how we feel in our environment,
Unknown:how we feel with other people, how we feel when we consume news
Unknown:through our senses, our eyes, our ears. When we eat we're also
Unknown:getting in information of course the better quality of food you
Unknown:eat, the better you feel in your body. So when you become aware
Unknown:of these tensions, you know an extreme example would be having
Unknown:an argument with a person that you care about and not quiet.
Unknown:Resolving the argument not quite walking away in you know a
Unknown:relief but You feel this stem, still some weird
Unknown:energy between you guys. And you walk away. It's not the end of
Unknown:the world, but it doesn't feel quite good. And you get
Unknown:headaches, you get a stiff neck, you get tense shoulders, some
Unknown:people are belly people and become a sore stomach, the next
Unknown:meal that you're going to ingest is going to taste good in the
Unknown:moment, but afterwards, you feel you have digestive problems,
Unknown:without going too much into detail. Some people are
Unknown:constipated, or some people have the runs, when there's something
Unknown:emotionally, energetically bugging them. And what is really
Unknown:important to learn to do, once we have an energy build up like
Unknown:this, after an argument, or after we, you know, had a day of
Unknown:doing doing doing running, running, running, getting things
Unknown:done accomplishing pleasing other people living up to your
Unknown:own standards you can hear and the tone of my voice already it
Unknown:is intense we're running around then we have to shake it off.
Unknown:And we have to learn what the best way is of shaking that
Unknown:energy off. It can be a warm or a hot bath, it can be a run a
Unknown:walk with the intention to release energy not further build
Unknown:up energy. I know so many people who go for a run who go to the
Unknown:gym. And afterwards, they're even more stressed out because
Unknown:they entered the gym, they started the running with the
Unknown:same energy intention, like they were running their whole day. So
Unknown:they were not able to shake tension off but to further build
Unknown:it up. And that's not what we want. For some people it is yoga
Unknown:or meditation. For some people yoga and meditation is like a
Unknown:red flag and they absolutely need something physical where
Unknown:they feel a release. For other people it is sex. And what I
Unknown:want to say about that is that if you use sex with the wrong
Unknown:intention, and in this case, it would be to release energy from
Unknown:your body. It is not okay, because what you're doing in
Unknown:that moment is that you pour that energy into your partner.
Unknown:And that's not really fair, what you have to learn is that you
Unknown:release that energy first, and then choose to consciously
Unknown:connect with your partner. There's people who were that
Unknown:tension build up are really good at becoming an erection. But
Unknown:there's also a lot of people who, when having that energy
Unknown:roaming inside of them are on a very different page. They might
Unknown:have sexual thoughts and fantasies and desires. But on a
Unknown:physical level, there is nothing there. There is no erection
Unknown:there is no juicy wetness on the females side of things. And they
Unknown:just can't quite access their sexual energy. And this is
Unknown:happening when we were not able to release our stresses before
Unknown:connecting with our partner. Another thing that I certainly
Unknown:want to recommend here is that you can openly talk about this
Unknown:with your friends, with your partner with whoever you're
Unknown:going to connect on that day and maybe release stress together.
Unknown:And by releasing stress together, I don't mean that we
Unknown:start nagging and complaining and dumping our bucket of stress
Unknown:onto the other person. But we consciously engage in activities
Unknown:together that we know are going to help us release stress. So
Unknown:again, it can be walking, it can be swimming.
Unknown:It can be just laying on a bench on a park bench and watching the
Unknown:grass grow, it can be gazing stars. It can be a tea ceremony.
Unknown:It can be making music, creating something painting, expressing
Unknown:yourself. And of course, you can do that with people together. It
Unknown:really depends how you are wired. If you're more of an
Unknown:extrovert and you feel energized and awesome when you are
Unknown:surrounded by people, or if you are more of an introvert and you
Unknown:need a long term downtime in order to recharge your
Unknown:batteries. So all this is here for you to feel inspired and
Unknown:excited to explore who you are, how you are wired, how can you
Unknown:release energy. And maybe if you have been engaging and very
Unknown:upbeat ways of releasing energies, maybe you want to do
Unknown:the opposite day, or the next time you feel tensed. And see
Unknown:how that feels. You'd be surprised how some people who
Unknown:had huge resistance to meditation, for instance,
Unknown:instantly enjoy it and grasp what it's all about and make
Unknown:their own little practice and create something that really
Unknown:helps them on their path. So be creative. Be open to try
Unknown:something new, and share. What's your experiences. Tell me what
Unknown:you tried and tell me what you observed. What was it that
Unknown:builds energy up inside of you that made you feel tense? And
Unknown:what were you able to do afterwards in order to release
Unknown:that energy? All right. Thank you so much for being here and
Unknown:listening to me. I deeply appreciate you. So excited for
Unknown:all the comments and reviews and donations that I received
Unknown:recently. You guys are incredible. If it wasn't for
Unknown:you, I couldn't be doing that because I'm doing it all here.
Unknown:I'm pumping all my love and energy into this podcast. And
Unknown:when you guys sent me a token of appreciation. It's just Yeah, so
Unknown:much more fun. So thank you so much. You're appreciated. And I
Unknown:will be out there very soon again. Bye bye.
