Keep things in perspective.

Hello, hello, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora, life coach and companion

Unknown:

on this beautiful journey called life. Gosh, I missed speaking

Unknown:

this intro, it's been quite a while since I published an

Unknown:

episode for you.

Unknown:

My life has been shaken has been turned upside down. And now I

Unknown:

can slowly but surely find a grip underneath my feet again,

Unknown:

just in a nutshell relative of mine, my father had a stroke in

Unknown:

Germany, and I'm in Canada, and deeply embedded in the community

Unknown:

here and busy and this message reached me and it completely

Unknown:

threw me off. Now I booked my flight to go see him and I feel

Unknown:

so much better I feel I can breathe again, I can sleep

Unknown:

again, I can feel a little bit more normal again. And it will

Unknown:

feel good to hold his hand. So yeah, just a little side note,

Unknown:

while I've been away for quite some time, it's been very

Unknown:

interesting. And in the meantime, I kept working on my

Unknown:

dream on my location that I'm building here for you. And that

Unknown:

was great. Sometimes, when you're not doing well

Unknown:

emotionally mentally. It is extremely awesome to have

Unknown:

physical work to do and a project that you can see

Unknown:

progress serves kind of like an anchor. So that has been very

Unknown:

good. I hope you are good. I hope you feel safe. I hope you

Unknown:

feel understood and loved. I hope that you own up to your

Unknown:

truth. I hope you can live your most authentic life. And first

Unknown:

and foremost, I hope that you enjoy great health. Your

Unknown:

physical body is the reason why you are here on planet Earth.

Unknown:

You experience pleasure you can travel you can take in the world

Unknown:

around you with all your senses. So please, please, please never

Unknown:

forget how important your physical health is. And how it

Unknown:

affects your mind and your emotions, your over all well

Unknown:

being. Today I want to talk about thinking, making time to

Unknown:

think no matter what you're going to do with your life, you

Unknown:

will have a great advantage over your competitors. If you make

Unknown:

time to reflect to rest. And think and what I mean by sync is

Unknown:

not you know just sit there and put your legs up and think about

Unknown:

the next item you want to buy or the next food like the next meal

Unknown:

you want to cook. The next person you want to flirt with

Unknown:

with thinking I mean thoughts that are in alignment with your

Unknown:

desires, dreams and goals. So many of us feel that if we stop

Unknown:

for a moment and are in stillness, that we are wasting

Unknown:

time. But my dear, I'm here to tell you that quite the opposite

Unknown:

is the truth. It doesn't really matter if you are a parent if

Unknown:

you are a lover. If you are an entrepreneur a ce o As a sole

Unknown:

proprietor, an employed person, if you are able to make time and

Unknown:

reflect about where you want your life to go, you will get

Unknown:

there. Eventually. Too many people are on IO autopilot, too

Unknown:

many people are caught up with their to do lists. I know people

Unknown:

who have absolutely no to do lists, and I know people who

Unknown:

have, like, free to tend to do lists for one day. And I just,

Unknown:

yeah, I have a hard time imagining how that can be.

Unknown:

Awesome living? If you're kind of Yeah. Reactive to your To Do

Unknown:

lists if you're like a little squirrel working down your list?

Unknown:

Or how do you say that like, checking off? points on your

Unknown:

list? Is that really enjoyable? Do you feel that alive and in

Unknown:

good about it? When you live like that? Yeah, it gives you

Unknown:

structure. It makes you not forget things. But I'm always

Unknown:

one to encourage people to stay alive and to stay. I don't want

Unknown:

to say alert. But observant. Right, when you go to bed at

Unknown:

night, can you reflect back and see the baby steps that you took

Unknown:

towards your goal? Instead of planning out your week? If

Unknown:

weight loss is one of your goals, or weight gain, and you

Unknown:

plan out your week, or your coming weeks, with tasks that

Unknown:

you want to fulfill each day, what if life happens? And that

Unknown:

comes up a couple of days where you don't do anything? Are you

Unknown:

going to beat yourself up or you're going to fall back? I

Unknown:

tell you what, a lot of people who then get thrown off their to

Unknown:

do lists, so to say quit because they feel they're falling

Unknown:

behind. And then they end up not doing anything at all. Or they

Unknown:

fulfill all the little tasks that were written down on your

Unknown:

on their to do list.

Unknown:

But it's kind of like a it feels like a should and like a must.

Unknown:

And is that the right way to go about your dreams and to be on a

Unknown:

path of self discovery and joy and true living living with

Unknown:

purpose? Living from the heart? I don't think so. I think we

Unknown:

have to read just when I'm going through this crisis again and

Unknown:

coming out of it alive. I'm taking day by day. I don't plan

Unknown:

big things. I focus on the the essentials are the most

Unknown:

important things. I have my goals and my dreams and my

Unknown:

desires in mind. And it doesn't matter which little step I take

Unknown:

towards my goal each day, even if it is just two minutes,

Unknown:

because I know life happens. I know, distraction happen. But if

Unknown:

I know that even if I was distracted, even if I felt

Unknown:

uprooted, and life was horrible. And I still made those two

Unknown:

minutes that were serving my goals that were in alignment

Unknown:

with my values. I could tap myself on my shoulder and I can

Unknown:

keep going. Right you keep that consistency. It's like a red

Unknown:

line. That from the day you decide what your goal is, what

Unknown:

your dream is that you want to reach to the day that you reach

Unknown:

your goal that this red line never gets interrupted. And it

Unknown:

doesn't matter if the red line is fat balled in a way that We

Unknown:

can say, Yeah, you made lots of time you put lots of effort in

Unknown:

and you were very productive. And on days where the line is

Unknown:

thin, and you could only make two minutes time, or you could

Unknown:

only make one little phone call that it counts as one. But you

Unknown:

didn't leave your goal your dream out of sight. And this is

Unknown:

what I was doing over the last couple of weeks when I was not

Unknown:

showing up as often as I wanted to, as to not beat myself up to

Unknown:

know that I will come back stronger than ever. And in the

Unknown:

meantime, I will work on stuff that I usually neglect

Unknown:

stuff that is also in alignment with my dreams and goals and

Unknown:

that will make you feel so awesome. It is consistency, it

Unknown:

is not a To Do lists and beating yourself up for days where you

Unknown:

don't fulfill your To Do lists that will make you come closer

Unknown:

to your dreams. And again, it doesn't matter if you are trying

Unknown:

to manifest a relationship or your ideal weight, or a job or

Unknown:

travel plans. It will fall into place if you are gentle with

Unknown:

yourself along the way. And I think this is what I want you to

Unknown:

take away from today's episode is that we are human. We are on

Unknown:

planet Earth. Tackling life and life will throw curveballs at

Unknown:

you and obstacles that you are equipped to conquer. But be

Unknown:

gentle along the way because no one else is going to be gentle

Unknown:

except you. And if you are the people around you will be gentle

Unknown:

as well. If you communicate what you're going through, and if you

Unknown:

own up to where you're at on your journey, you will find

Unknown:

support, incredible support. And I'm also always there and so

Unknown:

incredibly grateful to be on this journey with you. This

Unknown:

podcast is advertisement free. And I keep receiving donations

Unknown:

and it just fills my heart with your generosity and your

Unknown:

appreciation and motivates me so much. Especially on the days

Unknown:

where life is tough. So thank you so much for being here.

Unknown:

Thank you for sending episode requests I always in and joy to

Unknown:

know that I can serve you directly and it will always be

Unknown:

anonymous. And yeah, I think that was the message I wanted to

Unknown:

send out to you today. take really good care of yourself. I

Unknown:

will be out there very soon again. Until then.

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
