Hello, and

Unknown:

welcome to the Borealis experience.

Unknown:

I'm your host Aurora.

Unknown:

And I'm very happy to be spending some time with you

Unknown:

today. It is Friday, I don't know what Friday means to you.

Unknown:

Maybe it's the day before the weekend can start. And now he

Unknown:

can arrest and relax and recharge your batteries. Maybe

Unknown:

it is the busiest day of your week. Like it is for me.

Unknown:

I

Unknown:

yeah. Had a lot on my plate today. And I'm very happy that I

Unknown:

can make the time now and record this episode for you and at the

Unknown:

same time, enjoy this as a time of rest and relaxation.

Unknown:

This week,

Unknown:

I posted a video about men about what men really need in

Unknown:

relationships from our society. And this is why today's episode

Unknown:

is about men as well. What do men need? I feel that social

Unknown:

media media advertisement

Unknown:

movies, hollywood. They tried to yes sell

Unknown:

us a very specific image of a man. This is why I love

Unknown:

alternative movies so much and movies from all over the world.

Unknown:

Specially the ones from Denmark, very dark sense of humor. But I

Unknown:

feel what it does to us is that it sets weird expectations and

Unknown:

weird views on how a man is supposed to act and look and

Unknown:

behave and relate to you. This episode is not only for ladies

Unknown:

today, it is also for men because I want to know if I'm on

Unknown:

the right track here. I want to know if I'm hitting a nerve. If

Unknown:

I learned the right lessons if I made the right conclusions from

Unknown:

my experiences. What I've learned is that my men are

Unknown:

attracted to beauty. And what is beauty, beauty is not perfection

Unknown:

and makeup and nail polish and high heels. Beauty is coming

Unknown:

from within. It is a state of being a state of confidence and

Unknown:

well being a state of health. And of course this will radiate

Unknown:

into the outside world as well. Men are attracted to women who

Unknown:

take really good care of themselves. They are healthy.

Unknown:

They know what they want in life. They know how to set

Unknown:

boundaries. They have a good sense of humor, you know, they

Unknown:

don't take life too seriously.

Unknown:

They have playful they know how to listen. And they know how to

Unknown:

receive. I feel this is what a man seeks and a woman

Unknown:

and as women we focus all too often only on the exterior and

Unknown:

try to attract try to impress. But it's getting really

Unknown:

exhausting after a while when it doesn't come from the inside

Unknown:

when it's just trying to manage from the outside and trying to

Unknown:

manipulate and control how he looked like. I think a lot of

Unknown:

women exhaust their energies when it comes to their physical

Unknown:

appearance. And don't get me wrong. It's important, but

Unknown:

feeling and being healthy. And this is what I learned from my

Unknown:

dad by the way, is what makes you shine. A full shiny hair is

Unknown:

beautiful. But it's also a sign of health curves are a sign of

Unknown:

health, being too skinny is not a sign of health. And being

Unknown:

overweight is also not a sign of health. I think we are attracted

Unknown:

to health. And then the awesome thing about is at the same time,

Unknown:

it's not to be fanatic about it yet to not go crazy about health

Unknown:

to know a balance, to have your cheat days to have your

Unknown:

chocolate, your candy, but to work out and to enjoy healthy

Unknown:

foods at the same time. Everything in moderation. What a

Unknown:

man is attracted to is a woman who can listen, I mentioned it

Unknown:

at the beginning here. A woman who got her shed together, knows

Unknown:

how to manage her feelings and her life. And a woman who can

Unknown:

hold space for the men in her life, where he can express

Unknown:

himself and kind of be guided back to his soul and his heart.

Unknown:

Too often society and women are pressuring men to be a certain

Unknown:

way. And this in turn, doesn't allow them to feel weak at

Unknown:

times, and to have a shed day or a shed face. I'm working closely

Unknown:

with people from Kenya right now. The Suicide is just Yeah,

Unknown:

very common. On a daily basis, there's numbers rising, mental

Unknown:

health is declining, violence is skyrocketing. And all this among

Unknown:

men, they live under high pressure in Kenya, you only get

Unknown:

certain

Unknown:

jobs, a specific, like good position in society if you are

Unknown:

married, this results in Yeah, kind of loveless marriages. And

Unknown:

what I'm trying to do here with my podcast, my what my vision

Unknown:

is, is that I

Unknown:

kind of wake people up, but also at the same time guide them back

Unknown:

to their hearts. Because all too often we are too ego driven too

Unknown:

head driven. We tried to control and influence way too much. And

Unknown:

we don't listen to our heart anymore. So a woman that is

Unknown:

capable of listening to her heart. Her intuition is deeply

Unknown:

inspiring for a man. She can bring him home to his own heart.

Unknown:

At the same time, he is protecting her not because she's

Unknown:

weak, but because she's so endlessly precious. And he's

Unknown:

making sure that she has everything she needs in order to

Unknown:

be in balance. But I feel we kind of unlearned what it means

Unknown:

to be a woman in a relationship. There's very business driven

Unknown:

woman out there and it's very cool. Like it's awesome, how

Unknown:

much they get done and how high they climb up that ladder. But

Unknown:

if they are seeking a romantic relationship, where they feel

Unknown:

loved and appreciated and sexy, they have to learn to go back to

Unknown:

the soft, feminine energy. You cannot be in a relationship with

Unknown:

a man if you're trying to connect. Sorry, not connect if

Unknown:

you're trying to compete with him at all times when it comes

Unknown:

to conversations when it comes to politics, when it comes to

Unknown:

how things should be done in the household and so on. If you're

Unknown:

constantly an opponent to your man, you cannot expect him to be

Unknown:

a decent lover. You have to surrender to the masculine and

Unknown:

not be fearful of the masculine. We have to trust the masculine

Unknown:

again, we have to trust that he's not going to try to control

Unknown:

us to dominate us. He's not going to be jealous. He's gonna

Unknown:

look at you with kind eyes and wants you to be your best

Unknown:

version wants you to shine wants to deeply connect with you. I

Unknown:

want to dissolve these powers games that are happening between

Unknown:

men and women right now. I feel they're not serving us anymore.

Unknown:

And they never have, they destroy relationships. Over

Unknown:

time. A man wants to have a healthy woman, I decide, he

Unknown:

wants to know that she has a safe space where somebody is

Unknown:

listening to him, where he can express himself. And then he

Unknown:

needs a woman who is independent, but also

Unknown:

interdependent. It is a given take a constant given take. You

Unknown:

take each other as part of yourself. When the others

Unknown:

hurting you or hurting, when the other is thriving, you are

Unknown:

thriving. You support each other, but don't use each other

Unknown:

as crutches, you lift each other up. You call each other out on

Unknown:

bullshit. And you help each other to grow. You allow each

Unknown:

other to change. because change is a given life. It is so

Unknown:

important that we support men who embrace more and more their

Unknown:

feminine side expressing themselves and wanting to be

Unknown:

themselves more because under patriarchy, they suffered just

Unknown:

as much as the women that were suppressed. We have to be there

Unknown:

for our men. And we have to fear masculinity, less, we have to

Unknown:

trust masculinity again. And we have to allow femininity again.

Unknown:

This won't be the last episode that I will be talking about men

Unknown:

and women. Trust me, I'm passionate about this. And I

Unknown:

hope I was bringing you value to your life today and insights or

Unknown:

maybe an angle, a new angle from the bottom of my heart. Thank

Unknown:

you so much for listening. If you have questions if you have

Unknown:

episode requests, never hesitate to message me on Facebook, or

Unknown:

Instagram. If you're new to this podcast, make sure to subscribe.

Unknown:

And if you like my podcast if you appreciate my work, please

Unknown:

leave me a five star rating and a review. I would appreciate so

Unknown:

much. Until next time. Take care bye bye

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
