Hello, hello, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora, and I'm very relieved

Unknown:

to be spending time with you today.

Unknown:

There's days where you're happy and light and everything flows.

Unknown:

There's other days where you feel irritated, angry, sad,

Unknown:

frustrated, or maybe you had a fight with a person you deeply

Unknown:

care about.

Unknown:

Sometimes life just feels like too much.

Unknown:

Sometimes we just want to hit pause, and sleep, and sleep, and

Unknown:

sleep it out and wake up

Unknown:

to a life without pain and suffering and fighting and

Unknown:

frustrations.

Unknown:

Today, I'm here to invite you to do that at times.

Unknown:

You know, maybe you're a mom, of young children, and you just

Unknown:

feel like overwhelmed. You need a break from everything.

Unknown:

Maybe you are a dad. And you just wish that you can have some

Unknown:

alone time at times and

Unknown:

just focus on yourself a little bit and stop caring,

Unknown:

being considerate for other people. Maybe you're single, and

Unknown:

you're desperate, and you're lonely.

Unknown:

And your job is stressful. And you just want to break. There's

Unknown:

so many scenarios

Unknown:

that I could that I could present here.

Unknown:

Me for instance, I feel totally rundown, I feel sad and

Unknown:

frustrated.

Unknown:

And it's okay.

Unknown:

Oftentimes, we punish ourselves on top of feeling shitty

Unknown:

already. Because we feel we have to fulfill that role in society,

Unknown:

that role in our family.

Unknown:

And we don't allow ourselves to hit pause for a moment.

Unknown:

Most of you know that I love posting little videos on

Unknown:

Facebook and being fun and joyful and inspiring. And it is

Unknown:

very hard for me to face a day where I absolutely cannot

Unknown:

imagine being that joyful person.

Unknown:

But I cannot judge myself again or punish myself for that.

Unknown:

Because I want to be out there for you soon again, and be the

Unknown:

inspiration, the motivation, the source of joy and love that I

Unknown:

know I am. But there's clouds on every blue sky.

Unknown:

And those clouds sorry out okay to be there.

Unknown:

So, if you're with me in this, or if you know how I feel at the

Unknown:

moment, I invite you to

Unknown:

be in peace and silence for a little bit. And it will feel

Unknown:

weird at the beginning.

Unknown:

But all of a sudden,

Unknown:

it can feel very, very good.

Unknown:

Because you know, I'm still there, I'm still breathing. I'm

Unknown:

still present with you.

Unknown:

And just making space and just allowing silence.

Unknown:

And to sit in silence by yourself can be very scary

Unknown:

because stuff might come up that you were successfully

Unknown:

distracting yourself from.

Unknown:

But trust me it is very soothing and healing to be silent at

Unknown:

times.

Unknown:

And if you are with a person who allows silence

Unknown:

It's incredibly powerful. It's incredibly

Unknown:

bonding.

Unknown:

So if you're driving now, a bicycle or motorcycle, a car or

Unknown:

a truck, whatever it is, operating machinery, I don't

Unknown:

recommend you continue listening to this

Unknown:

If you are in a safe place, or if you're going for a walk for a

Unknown:

hike, if you're laying down in the middle of your bedroom or

Unknown:

living room, if you're on a couch, that would be perfect.

Unknown:

Now just focus in on your breath.

Unknown:

And notice if you are

Unknown:

breathing deeply, or breathing very shallow

Unknown:

sometimes when we face

Unknown:

too much, too many emotions are coming up. Too much stuff is

Unknown:

going on, we're too angry, frustrated,

Unknown:

we tend to tense up physically and start breathing very, very

Unknown:

shallowly.

Unknown:

And if we can make the time to just rest for a couple minutes

Unknown:

here with me

Unknown:

and start to breathe deeply again.

Unknown:

We can deeply connect to ourselves again

Unknown:

and lead every single that was frustrating, kind of pushing

Unknown:

pause, but also a reset button.

Unknown:

Sometimes we try so hard, and we still get a just enough grade.

Unknown:

Sometimes we feel so misunderstood by people. And it

Unknown:

just hurts.

Unknown:

Sometimes people are selfish, reckless,

Unknown:

angry.

Unknown:

And we just got to see that they're probably going through

Unknown:

something tough. And we don't want to take it personally.

Unknown:

Take a deep breath, inhale through your nose

Unknown:

and exhale through your mouth.

Unknown:

And what I love to remind myself in those stages,

Unknown:

phases is that your heart is always on your side. Your lungs

Unknown:

are always helping you, supporting you to breathe.

Unknown:

You kidneys are always right there for you like little

Unknown:

soldiers

Unknown:

and your liver. detoxing for you all day long.

Unknown:

Preferably at night.

Unknown:

Your brain is constantly looking for solutions trying to protect

Unknown:

you.

Unknown:

And your mind. A beautiful monkey mind is the one that we

Unknown:

are constantly I want to say but oftentimes addressing here on

Unknown:

the podcast.

Unknown:

Let it rest for a little bit.

Unknown:

There's nothing to solve right now right here

Unknown:

can go back to problem solving mode.

Unknown:

When you're done here.

Unknown:

Just be with yourself for a moment.

Unknown:

Be your best friend for a moment.

Unknown:

And listen to yourself.

Unknown:

Breathing

Unknown:

what else you love to do is to go into birds perspective and to

Unknown:

look down onto myself

Unknown:

and to send gratitude.

Unknown:

Thank you for being you. Thank you for being here.

Unknown:

Thank you for listening to me. Thank you for being present.

Unknown:

Thank you for having my back.

Unknown:

Thank you for being

Unknown:

the best version that you can possibly be.

Unknown:

And you can go on and on and on with the list

Unknown:

of unconditional presence and love

Unknown:

to watch yourself

Unknown:

Maybe you want to close your eyes and relax the little

Unknown:

muscles around your eyes

Unknown:

relax your jaw

Unknown:

beautiful resting bitchface

Unknown:

relax the muscles on your forehead

Unknown:

maybe you can hear the wind in the background here.

Unknown:

Maybe you're by the sea. And you can hear the waves.

Unknown:

Maybe you live in a city and you can hear an ambulance in the

Unknown:

fire

Unknown:

or nearby.

Unknown:

cars honking

Unknown:

shelter children playing.

Unknown:

Allow it all to be there

Unknown:

without distracting you.

Unknown:

Fear it is a thing that we have to learn more and more a muscle

Unknown:

we need to train,

Unknown:

how to be with ourselves, how to give ourselves undivided

Unknown:

presence.

Unknown:

And then to learn giving that to people around us.

Unknown:

Because our life is

Unknown:

filled

Unknown:

with distractions.

Unknown:

And to learn to be with yourself with your feelings to value

Unknown:

yourself

Unknown:

is such a precious gift.

Unknown:

Because then we can go out and give this to people

Unknown:

and create deep, meaningful relationships

Unknown:

now if you wish to, you can bring your hands to heart

Unknown:

center. I'm doing it right now with closed eyes.

Unknown:

And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart

Unknown:

for being here.

Unknown:

If it wasn't for you, this podcast wouldn't exist. If it

Unknown:

wasn't for you.

Unknown:

I didn't have a place to go to feel safe and relaxed again

Unknown:

today.

Unknown:

You know I meditate at times I do yoga. But sometimes all those

Unknown:

practices are not enough and to speak with you

Unknown:

to share this moment of undivided presence and

Unknown:

relaxation

Unknown:

really helped me out today.

Unknown:

And I will be out there very soon again, with more joyful

Unknown:

vibes.

Unknown:

Today, I just felt like

Unknown:

you're worthy of seeing my true face. You're worthy of seeing me

Unknown:

being not at my best.

Unknown:

I want to create a space for you here where you feel safe

Unknown:

to express everything you feel.

Unknown:

And this is what I'm doing today.

Unknown:

I'm stepping into that space sharing with you how I feel.

Unknown:

And I don't feel judged.

Unknown:

I don't feel that there's conditions set in place on how I

Unknown:

am supposed to record my episodes.

Unknown:

Thank you so much for being here.

Unknown:

I'm sending my love her to you.

Unknown:

Until very soon. Buh bye, Aurora

Love Aurora
Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
