Hello, and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Aurora. And I'm very happy to be spending some time

Unknown:

with you today. It is extremely windy out. Now hope it's not

Unknown:

going to disturb you. It's very unpleasant outside today. And

Unknown:

yeah, I'm very happy to be inside all cozy, very, very

Unknown:

grateful to have a roof over my head. Today I want to talk about

Unknown:

you. Some of you might be freaking out, what is she going

Unknown:

to say about me? What does she know about me? And some of you

Unknown:

might be just curious and positive about it? Yeah, what

Unknown:

defines you, if you've listened to this podcast, from the very

Unknown:

beginning, you heard me talking about the four pillars, the

Unknown:

mental, the physical, the emotional, and spiritual. So in

Unknown:

order to be healthy, you need to be clear and good in your mind,

Unknown:

you have to have a healthy body. And you have to practice as I

Unknown:

like to call it emotional hygiene. So being emotionally

Unknown:

sound and well balanced. And in order to know what health is, we

Unknown:

have to first know ourselves. So how do we know ourselves? And to

Unknown:

how much? Like, how much do you think? Do you know yourself?

Unknown:

That 10% 20%? Is it 90% 95%. Because I believe the better we

Unknown:

know ourselves, the better the decisions we make in life. And

Unknown:

we have forgiven ourselves for mistakes. We live in alignment

Unknown:

with our values and beliefs. And we can have a very clear,

Unknown:

correct we say in German person. So what defines you, if you

Unknown:

think about it, if I was to ask your friends or your parents or

Unknown:

your siblings, or whoever knows you, well, what would they say

Unknown:

about you? What do they know? about you? Do they know the

Unknown:

whole person or just a part of your personality? And which

Unknown:

person in your life do you feel most comfortable with? And who

Unknown:

knows most about you? So if we go back to what defines you,

Unknown:

let's go through your job. IU, your profession. I you the role

Unknown:

you play in society the role you play, in your family, among your

Unknown:

friends, I you your body? So are you a very physically active

Unknown:

person. And your physical appearance is what defines you.

Unknown:

Are you an intellectual or an artist? Is it intellectual?

Unknown:

knowledge, what defines you? Or if you are a creator and artist

Unknown:

is your art? What defines you? Are you Your thoughts? Your

Unknown:

thoughts on a daily basis? every second of our life? Except when

Unknown:

we're meditation masters, we have thoughts. I you Your

Unknown:

thoughts? I you your emotions. When you feel strong joy. When

Unknown:

you feel strong anger, sadness? Is that you? Are you a very

Unknown:

vocal, expressive person?

Unknown:

I think it's really important to ask these questions in order to

Unknown:

set boundaries in order to know where we want to go in life in

Unknown:

order to know how we want people to treat us And how we want to

Unknown:

go out there and be a good individual. I you, your

Unknown:

mistakes. I you your regrets. When you compare yourself to

Unknown:

others in a group, are you shining? And happy and proud to

Unknown:

be you? Or do you compare yourself? Do you feel insecure?

Unknown:

Are you very judgmental, opinionated? How do you feel in

Unknown:

a group setting? How do you feel when you are alone? Do you have

Unknown:

things that you're running away from? And do you live in

Unknown:

constant? distraction? I you the way you relate to people to your

Unknown:

partner, for instance, if you have a romantic relationship

Unknown:

going on at the moment? Do you define yourself as the

Unknown:

girlfriend or the boyfriend and as your partner responsible for

Unknown:

how you feel? Who can make you feel feelings anyways? Right?

Unknown:

Like, yeah, they can be triggered from the outside. But

Unknown:

it is being ignited, so to say in our chest and side of us. And

Unknown:

sometimes it's very irrational, sometimes it's very out of

Unknown:

nowhere, that we react to something compared to others.

Unknown:

And sometimes it's just very in alignment. Very healthy, how we

Unknown:

react.

Unknown:

If you're sitting right now or laying down. Please don't do

Unknown:

this. If you're driving a car, bicycle or anything operating

Unknown:

machinery. But if you're not go into birds perspective, and look

Unknown:

at yourself, look at your body breathing. Look at your ears,

Unknown:

listening to my voice, maybe your eyes are closed. That is

Unknown:

you as well. Right? When you are in birds perspective, when you

Unknown:

are in a group setting next time, go into birds perspective,

Unknown:

and look at yourself, look at the others.

Unknown:

A person that I really liked passed away yesterday. Maybe you

Unknown:

can hear it in my voice. Maybe I'm lower darker, maybe not. But

Unknown:

it really made me think like, how did that person affect me

Unknown:

and touch me? Touch my soul? What am I going to remember? And

Unknown:

why is the way that person were was talking way that person made

Unknown:

me feel? What did I see in that person? That is now gone. And

Unknown:

what is still there? Yes. So I'm going to leave you at that. You

Unknown:

can go back and listen to more episodes, maybe do a meditation.

Unknown:

If you want to reflect more about your body and your mind,

Unknown:

season one has a mall. And then Season Two I'll talk about the

Unknown:

more but feel free to go back and listen to previous episodes.

Unknown:

I care so much about you. And I hope you are in a good place. Be

Unknown:

kind to yourself

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect
A.

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
