Hello, hello, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora. And I'm so happy to be

Unknown:

spending some time with you today.

Unknown:

I hope you're doing well, I hope you feel good and safe. And just

Unknown:

at ease. I know there's lots going on in the world right now.

Unknown:

And I somehow, yeah, hope that you're not affected by it. I

Unknown:

just came home from a walk forest, and feel very good in my

Unknown:

body, it's always good to go for walks and to be close to trees

Unknown:

and exposed to a little bit of wind and to see mountains and

Unknown:

trees change. Scenery really helps in changing perspectives.

Unknown:

I invite you to leave a review for the podcast, by the way, if

Unknown:

you like this podcast, because it helps a lot to have new

Unknown:

people find this podcast. And there's also a little button in

Unknown:

the show notes to buy me a coffee, of course, all the money

Unknown:

that I would receive from you, I invest back into my podcast, and

Unknown:

my years of experience, my physical location now where you

Unknown:

can meet with me for coaching or for yoga, and also relaxation

Unknown:

classes. And yeah, for you to be sure that the money is in a safe

Unknown:

space. And I'm will make sure that we will not get any

Unknown:

advertisement or sponsors onto this show. So that you can enjoy

Unknown:

this podcast without having to skip out on annoying

Unknown:

advertisement. I want to make sure that it stays that way and

Unknown:

sustainable. So today I want to talk about commitment,

Unknown:

commitment to yourself commitment to your journey. I'm

Unknown:

pretty sure that we all know what commitment means I haven't

Unknown:

looked at every key Paideia definition although I could do

Unknown:

that quickly. Now one second. Now. So what I found here is

Unknown:

commitment, The state or quality of being dedicated to a cause

Unknown:

activity, or a person. Isn't that beautiful? So dedication,

Unknown:

devotion, loyalty, I would also add faithfulness, fidelity. How

Unknown:

about focus is what I want to talk about today. Because I

Unknown:

noticed whenever I go into deep, dark phases where I feel stuck

Unknown:

and unhappy with where I'm at, or just don't know why I feel

Unknown:

down and low, I noticed that it also has to do with my

Unknown:

commitments so that I let my commitments slide. So to see,

Unknown:

the more I'm committed to my little morning rituals, my

Unknown:

evening rituals, consistent sleep, consistent, eating,

Unknown:

consistent, exercising, consistent nurturing of my

Unknown:

friendships, the better I feel. And this is why I want to share

Unknown:

this with you so urgently because I have so many people

Unknown:

messaging me right now that they feel out of place, they feel

Unknown:

uncertain, they feel anxious about the future. And I can

Unknown:

totally relate to that and what helps me is to be committed to a

Unknown:

cause to my life to my relationships. And at this

Unknown:

point, I also want to say if you are single or if you are in a

Unknown:

place of uncertainty in a relationship. I want you to

Unknown:

become committed to that. So let's say you are single but you

Unknown:

are not happy with that state is Then I want you to commit to a

Unknown:

journey that will involve all the work and exercises and

Unknown:

unraveling and untangling from stuff. So that you can meet a

Unknown:

partner in the future. That is a good suitor. If you are singer

Unknown:

and you are happy, I want you to commit to all the activities to

Unknown:

your friendships, to maybe it is freedom, traveling, self care,

Unknown:

and really commit to that. But if you are single, and you are

Unknown:

not happy, me, as an outsider, me as a caring member of your

Unknown:

community, I want to see that you are taking steps to reveal

Unknown:

and free yourself from stuff that is not serving you anymore,

Unknown:

because you're not single, just, you know, because people don't

Unknown:

like you, I feel if you're listening to this show, you

Unknown:

might be single and unhappy. Because you don't know yourself,

Unknown:

you're not setting boundaries with yourself maybe, or you

Unknown:

don't know what you're made of. You don't know what partner

Unknown:

would be compatible with or to you, which goes back to you

Unknown:

don't know yourself enough. And then you're just tumbling

Unknown:

around, wobbling around. And life is too short, to not be

Unknown:

committed to your journey. And I'm going to say it again, it

Unknown:

doesn't matter if you like your path or your journey, where

Unknown:

you're at right now or not. And especially if you don't like

Unknown:

your path, if it is uncomfortable, I need you to

Unknown:

commit to find a way to understand why you are at where

Unknown:

you're at, and where you want to go to become a Digilent.

Unknown:

Detective, on who you are. And then to make decisions based on

Unknown:

you knowing who you are. And you'll get a way different

Unknown:

outcome than if you keep stumbling around in life,

Unknown:

wasting energy and time, and maybe even burden friends and

Unknown:

family with the same ongoing problems with the same broken

Unknown:

tape. On and on and on. Right. And I know this is a little bit

Unknown:

of a tough love episode today. I'm glad I can label my episode

Unknown:

explicitly. So that you know from the get go that yeah, it's

Unknown:

not for the soft spoken. Here, we want to get to the nitty

Unknown:

gritty. And we want to know that if you are on a path that

Unknown:

doesn't feel good. How you can get out of it gracefully. And

Unknown:

with emotional intelligence, and dedication to live a life that

Unknown:

is true to your self. Life is short, my dear. And I don't want

Unknown:

you to lay on your deathbed one day. And think about all the

Unknown:

stuff that you haven't done all the experiences that you didn't

Unknown:

have, because you were too shy and too scared. That's not what

Unknown:

we want to do. On our last day here on Earth. We want to

Unknown:

recount memories with big joy and big sorrow. And we want to I

Unknown:

think we all want a juicy life. But right now, especially after

Unknown:

COVID after having to isolate and you know, stay apart from

Unknown:

each other. I feel that a lot of us struggle to get back out

Unknown:

there. And to know like what feels good and what doesn't and

Unknown:

to find out okay, who do we want to hang out with and who do we

Unknown:

not want to hang out with? But there's a lot of shyness out

Unknown:

there. And people are very reserved when it comes to

Unknown:

meeting new people. And it's harming us. We are herd animals

Unknown:

and we need each other we need to feel a community around us

Unknown:

beyond close friends and family. And that is something that will

Unknown:

not be good for our mental and emotional health.

Unknown:

If it continues like that we need to learn to be curious

Unknown:

again, to be open and to not be driven by fear, but by

Unknown:

courageous, open hearted love, where we are consciously

Unknown:

extending our comfort zone. But at the same time we know it is

Unknown:

not dangerous, it is safe adventure. And we can check out

Unknown:

and set boundaries at any moment in time. So, I will leave you

Unknown:

with that and hope that I somehow hit home that it

Unknown:

resonates with you. I want to make sure that I deliver what

Unknown:

you need and want when it comes to emotional and mental health.

Unknown:

So never hold back from shooting me. topic requests. If you have

Unknown:

questions, shoot me a message on Facebook or Instagram, Aurora

Unknown:

Eggert or Aurora coaching on Instagram. And I'm always happy

Unknown:

to to answer questions and to deliver episodes to your needs.

Unknown:

Yeah, I'll leave you for now and we'll be out there very soon

Unknown:

again. take really good care. Bye bye

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
