Unknown:

Hello there, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host, Aurora, here in the Rocky

Unknown:

Mountains and Canada. It is above 00. And today I decided to

Unknown:

record outdoors. So you will be hearing my dog walking in the

Unknown:

snow, you will be hearing maybe a little bit of wind. And you

Unknown:

can imagine me standing outside with a tooth and a little jacket

Unknown:

on sunbathing in the winter sun. So today, I want to talk about

Unknown:

dreams and how you can get closer to your dreams, even

Unknown:

though they seem so far away. Maybe he live in a city. And

Unknown:

your biggest dream is to be on a farm one day and to retire in

Unknown:

the mountains. Nobody of your family members has ever done

Unknown:

that. No one of your friends has a farm or is living on in the

Unknown:

countryside. And, yeah, you just have that dream in your mind.

Unknown:

Most of the time you push it down, suppress it. go about your

Unknown:

daily life focus on work, because you have to make money,

Unknown:

especially if you want to reach that dream one day. But what can

Unknown:

you do right now to get closer to that dream. And I think the

Unknown:

farm example is very nice. Because a lot of people right

Unknown:

now are caught in their apartments in a city and dream

Unknown:

of B being somewhere else. And I'm getting too cold right now.

Unknown:

So I have to interrupt liner episode here and go back inside

Unknown:

was a good idea to be outside. But hold on for a second.

Unknown:

Wonderful back inside in the warm. So you have that dream.

Unknown:

And the first thing I would say is every day

Unknown:

depending on how passionate how urgent that dreamers but I would

Unknown:

say every day, put aside at least five minutes and envision

Unknown:

your dream. How do you want that dream to look like and be as

Unknown:

specific as you need. And for some people that can just sit

Unknown:

there and close their eyes and think of it imagine, others need

Unknown:

to write things down. And there might be other options too. But

Unknown:

those two are the ones that I recommend. So you write things

Unknown:

down how you want your dream to look like your future to look

Unknown:

like. And you Be as specific as possible. Like go down to the

Unknown:

windows and the door that you want to use every morning when

Unknown:

you step out. The animals you want it to be surrounded with

Unknown:

the plants you want to grow the location, the people you want to

Unknown:

talk to the vibe that is out there. But you will have your

Unknown:

farm. So that's step number one, put aside a couple minutes every

Unknown:

day. And if you're doing that already, put more time into it

Unknown:

and write things down and vision. How specific you want to

Unknown:

be, the more specific the better. Second point is. You

Unknown:

need to research online and internet is so so sexy because

Unknown:

you can research pretty much everything nowadays. You have to

Unknown:

connect with people who have done that step before who have

Unknown:

moved out to the countryside from a big city. And you can

Unknown:

listen to their stories. You can contact them, you can meet up

Unknown:

with them. Of course, yeah, you got to see how it is with COVID

Unknown:

restrictions. But you have to open your eyes up to people that

Unknown:

have done that step before. And there, it really doesn't matter.

Unknown:

Like, right now we're talking about a farm on the countryside.

Unknown:

If it is a,

Unknown:

I don't know, travel, if it is a car, like something material,

Unknown:

you have to get in touch with people who are there already.

Unknown:

And trust me if they can sense that you're just half as

Unknown:

passionate about it than they are, they will help you because

Unknown:

those people are most of the time open hearted and willing to

Unknown:

help, because they have the compassion, they know exactly

Unknown:

how you feel, not being there yet. So first thing was envision

Unknown:

every day, second thing was put time into research and making

Unknown:

connections. And the excuse, or nobody in my family has done

Unknown:

that before. Nobody of my friends can help me how it

Unknown:

doesn't count, you have to meet up with strangers. And you will

Unknown:

very quickly realize that they will not stay strangers, because

Unknown:

they had a dream once and they were able to reach it. And they

Unknown:

are willing to help you. You must believe in that. Because it

Unknown:

is a very beautiful thing between people that so many

Unknown:

people don't see at times is that when someone is truly

Unknown:

glowing and passionate about something, then it's contagious

Unknown:

and attractive. And people want to help you out. It's in our

Unknown:

nature, we are herd animals, and they will listen to you and also

Unknown:

give you advice you will listen to them. So third point is talk

Unknown:

to your friends and family. And even though they might not have

Unknown:

the same dreams and visions and values as you it is always a

Unknown:

good thing to talk to people that we know and trust and share

Unknown:

our thoughts and our dreams with them. And they might have

Unknown:

constructive feedback and ideas. And if you can sense I always

Unknown:

put people in three category categories. Like the optimists,

Unknown:

the dreamers, the realists, or it's for actually, the

Unknown:

pessimists. As soon as you sense that they're pessimistic about

Unknown:

your idea, your dream, then move away and move on to people who

Unknown:

are optimists. And realists, and dreamers, because those are the

Unknown:

people who are going to lift you up and bring you closer to your

Unknown:

goal. And if you are a loner, if you used to do everything, by

Unknown:

yourself, it is okay to just contact people that you don't

Unknown:

know. But you have to know that you can only reach your goal

Unknown:

through other people. You have to learn to be open and to share

Unknown:

your passion, your why. And then people will gladly support you

Unknown:

or their little network brain is going to kick on and they will

Unknown:

come up with people that you can contact in the future.

Unknown:

So those are the three things I want to give you today. Because

Unknown:

COVID let's be real here sucks. There's no doubt. But I feel

Unknown:

COVID also makes so much time for reflection and dreaming. And

Unknown:

there's going to be the crazy years after this confinement

Unknown:

where people are going to let their hair down and let loose

Unknown:

and I can't wait for it. But now is the time to really envision

Unknown:

your dreams and to start working on your dreams to start making

Unknown:

the connections. And you will see you can get closer and

Unknown:

closer to your dream. If it is baby steps if it is big steps.

Unknown:

Sometimes you will reach a plateau and not move closer to

Unknown:

your dream and that's okay too because maybe something has to

Unknown:

grow and develop first inside of you in order to to go further.

Unknown:

Yeah, you will grow with every step step you take towards your

Unknown:

dream. And you were realized that one day I love you so much.

Unknown:

I believe so much and you you only got to believe in yourself

Unknown:

now. And yeah, I'm very excited to be out there for you every

Unknown:

day. I love your support. I love your feedback. You guys are

Unknown:

incredible. So, yeah, I'm your host of Aurora. You were

Unknown:

listening to the Borealis experience here. Be kind to

Unknown:

yourself. Until next time, bye bye

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect
A.

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
