Unknown:

Hey there, and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Iran. And yeah, I'm very happy to be spending some

Unknown:

time with you today. I've done a little bit of a mixing here of

Unknown:

the music. I hope you like it. So does that like to be

Unknown:

creative?

Unknown:

hip hop. Yeah.

Unknown:

So let's get started. Yesterday was Valentine's Day, I hope you

Unknown:

survived. It was an OK day for you or your big celebration. I

Unknown:

just hope that. Yeah, it is not another day that makes people

Unknown:

feel weak and unimportant and not good about themselves.

Unknown:

Today, I want to offer you a meditation for when you feel

Unknown:

exhausted, emotionally exhausted. We don't have to be a

Unknown:

parent, or in a draining relationship, or in a shitty job

Unknown:

in order to feel exhausted. Sometimes there's just too much

Unknown:

stuff that piles up. And physically we feel okay. But

Unknown:

emotionally, mentally, we just feel like we want to cry, we

Unknown:

want to sleep we want to escape. And it's a very hard place to be

Unknown:

because it's in those times that communication is hardest. And,

Unknown:

yeah, it's hard to tell people to give us space or what we

Unknown:

need. Because sometimes we don't even know what we need

Unknown:

ourselves. So I want to offer you a little meditation here,

Unknown:

where you can just be in that moment, be with yourself and be

Unknown:

okay with how you feel and know that it will get better soon.

Unknown:

And for the time being, I want you to believe in yourself. I

Unknown:

want you to remember that you are important and that we need

Unknown:

you out there. Put it as okay for all of us that you take a

Unknown:

break and recharge your batteries. You've been through a

Unknown:

lot, you hustle the Lord, You are trying to accomplish a lot

Unknown:

you run around and help other people. And now is your time

Unknown:

where you can just maybe even lay down on the ground or lay

Unknown:

down on a couch. But if you feel I guess you can also set in your

Unknown:

easy seat, a meditation seat. So if you choose to lay down, look

Unknown:

that your arms are approximately 45 angle away from your body and

Unknown:

your feet one and a half feet apart. You let your feet kind of

Unknown:

flop to the side open to the sky and your palms are facing up to

Unknown:

the sky as well. Take a deep, deep inhale in and exhale.

Unknown:

Another deep inhale and exhale.

Unknown:

Very good.

Unknown:

You choose to be in a seated position. Then adjust your

Unknown:

pelvis like I described in the first couple of meditations.

Unknown:

Roll your sit bones back and forth. And then have them a

Unknown:

little bit pushed to the back so that you have a little bit of an

Unknown:

arch in your lower back. You have a straight spine without

Unknown:

big effort. You roll your shoulders up and back. And then

Unknown:

you tuck your chin slightly to elongate your neck muscles

Unknown:

there. Another big inhale and exhale. let everything go. When

Unknown:

you chose to be in seated position, have your arms relaxed

Unknown:

and your hands resting on your knees. If you want a more

Unknown:

grounding sensation, palms down, maybe touch your knee, calves.

Unknown:

And if you want to be more in a receptive position, then have

Unknown:

your palms open up to the sky. Big inhale in. And exhale. Now,

Unknown:

close your eyes, feel comfortable with that. Relax

Unknown:

your jaw muscles lacks the muscles around your eyes,

Unknown:

muscles, forehead, on your forehead. Beautiful. And I want

Unknown:

you to go into bird's eye perspective. And watch yourself

Unknown:

and then watch your thoughts. Are you proud of yourself?

Unknown:

Sitting there? Making time and space for yourself? What do you

Unknown:

think it's pathetic and you're weak. And you should be going,

Unknown:

you should focus on your to do list, get things done. Observe

Unknown:

everything that comes up mentally. And be it good or

Unknown:

negative, aggressive. let it float by.

Unknown:

When we are in this exhausted space, mode or mood, however you

Unknown:

want to call them. We usually on top of it feel guilty or shame

Unknown:

or weak and really beat ourselves up even more. And we

Unknown:

need to allow ourselves to rest. If you've listened to my podcast

Unknown:

regularly, you will soon have a very valuable tool that your

Unknown:

hand to not run into that burnout sensation anymore. To

Unknown:

have perfect balance between tension and release and

Unknown:

relaxation. Because this is what you need. You can't just go go

Unknown:

go all the time. Big inhale and exhale.

Unknown:

Beautiful.

Unknown:

Now imagine your best friend. I personally really love doing

Unknown:

that meditation, either with you or without you, them doing the

Unknown:

meditation and you watch them. Would you think they're

Unknown:

pathetic? Would you think that they're weak? That they're

Unknown:

wasting their time? No, I don't think so. I think you would look

Unknown:

at them and deeply appreciate them. Enjoy to see them while

Unknown:

they meditate and are in a peaceful state. state of calm,

Unknown:

deep quietness. Imagine your friend sitting there are

Unknown:

language.

Unknown:

Now

Unknown:

I want you to send that same appreciation right into your

Unknown:

heart. Same respect, the same warm loving feeling that you

Unknown:

just had coming up for your friend there. I want you to send

Unknown:

right in your heart space

Unknown:

might be hard. At the beginning it was very hard for me to start

Unknown:

but you can do this you can send yourself the kindness that you

Unknown:

extend to other people you don't have to be hard on yourself at

Unknown:

all you can be gentle big inhale and exhale and on top of all you

Unknown:

can be very very proud that even if you feel exhausted and

Unknown:

drained you chose to join me here today and to do this

Unknown:

meditation

Unknown:

you're taking good care of yourself as a soul awesome so

Unknown:

valuable not only for yourself but for everybody around you

Unknown:

another big inhale and exhale now notice how your heartbeat

Unknown:

nice and steady your breathing more deep than show very good

Unknown:

now you can continue to meditate you can count your breath your

Unknown:

inhale and your exhale you can choose to do another meditation

Unknown:

with me or you can just sit and stillness if you choose to stop

Unknown:

here with me then roll onto your side if you were laying down

Unknown:

come up into an easy seats and for all of us now bring your

Unknown:

hands to heart center for your mind to your heart rest and

Unknown:

relax allow yourself to be still today

Unknown:

namaste

Unknown:

thank you so so much for joining me today i hope you're doing

Unknown:

well i hope you can relax for the rest of the day if not know

Unknown:

that this was very valuable for you to recharge your energies

Unknown:

and to be productive again out there but if you can then just

Unknown:

take a walk or have a nap or drink a tea and make yourself a

Unknown:

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect
A.

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
