Unknown:

Hello, and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Aurora, life coach and loyal companion here on this

Unknown:

journey. And I'm very, very happy to be spending some time

Unknown:

with you. Today is such a beautiful sunny day, the snow is

Unknown:

melting. Feels like spring, although it is only January 13

Unknown:

very deceiving, but I totally embrace it. I want to talk about

Unknown:

taxes and the weather today. Yeah, bear with me. I feel like

Unknown:

as soon as I mentioned the T word. People just want to run

Unknown:

away and want nothing to do with that. And when it comes to the

Unknown:

weather, yeah, what do the weather and taxes have in

Unknown:

common, I was originally going to talk about death as well. But

Unknown:

that's going to be for another time. But death taxes and the

Unknown:

weather are things that we cannot escape from. There is no

Unknown:

running away. There is no avoiding. There is nothing you

Unknown:

can do about it. Except you can face it gracefully. But most of

Unknown:

us, me included, we choose to complain and bitch about the

Unknown:

weather, hate tax season, because it's so annoying to get

Unknown:

all the paperwork done and to Yeah, realize that said you

Unknown:

could have worked each month a little bit throughout the year,

Unknown:

and it would have been easier now. Now you sit there with a

Unknown:

mess of paper. And every year it's the same thing. And when it

Unknown:

comes to death, no need to talk about it too much in detail

Unknown:

here, as I said earlier, but yeah, we can't escape it, we can

Unknown:

just focus on the present moment. And know that yes, one

Unknown:

day life will be over. And we want to know that we were able

Unknown:

to pursue a purpose as best as possible and light people up and

Unknown:

enjoy the juiciness of life. But death cannot be escaped. Now,

Unknown:

when it comes to the weather, there's people out there who

Unknown:

live pretty much in tune with nature and nothing can bother

Unknown:

them. No weather can dampen their day. But there's people

Unknown:

out there who have always something to complain about when

Unknown:

it comes to the weather. And to these people, I want to speak

Unknown:

today and say, Hey, there's nothing you can do about it,

Unknown:

except dress warmly, or dress accordingly. And know that

Unknown:

whatever energy you choose to waste when it comes to the

Unknown:

weather, it is energy that you could be using to do something

Unknown:

productive or to Yeah, build something, create something, it

Unknown:

is energy that is being wasted when we keep complaining about

Unknown:

stuff that we can't control. And same or similar. It goes for the

Unknown:

taxes Believe it or not, I was the person who was trying to

Unknown:

avoid doing my taxes at all cost. And the weird thing is, I

Unknown:

was employed in Germany back then. And it was always about

Unknown:

getting money back at the end of the year or after handing in

Unknown:

your paperwork. This is why the government was not after me

Unknown:

because I was not owing money but I was actually going and

Unknown:

getting money back but I had so much resistant resistance to do

Unknown:

my paperwork that I that it was a pain in the bum to address it

Unknown:

and to sit down and to get things in order. Or I didn't do

Unknown:

it at all and was totally okay with not receiving money back.

Unknown:

But if we know that tax season is going to roll it around any

Unknown:

ways that you can do anything, especially the people who own my

Unknown:

own money to the government. Why not make it a little bit more of

Unknown:

Have a priority to have your ducks in order. Because you save

Unknown:

yourself so much pain and suffering. In preparing yourself

Unknown:

for March, April, for some it is June or July. And then you don't

Unknown:

feel overwhelmed, you don't feel annoyed, you can actually enjoy

Unknown:

your numbers. You can, yeah, see your numbers see reality. And it

Unknown:

can be weird and painful at times, if your business was not

Unknown:

doing well, if the, you know, business a year was was not

Unknown:

really awesome, especially now during COVID. But it is

Unknown:

something that is part of your life that you can't avoid, and

Unknown:

the more you're trying to avoid, the more problems are going to

Unknown:

accumulate. So what I've done in the last couple years is that

Unknown:

every time I engaged in business, I had my little diary

Unknown:

a little journal, and wrote down what happened that day. And

Unknown:

there I also included my receipts, and took notes. And

Unknown:

that only takes like two to five minutes. And of course,

Unknown:

compounding these minutes, it amounts to a little bit of time

Unknown:

that you putting aside. But it's absolutely worth it to, to know

Unknown:

what's going on with your business on a monthly on a on a

Unknown:

bi monthly or at least six months. That way, you also will

Unknown:

not have to face uncomfortable surprises, you will know what is

Unknown:

going on with your paperwork with your business. And I don't

Unknown:

know if I sleep better. Now that I'm a little more organized. And

Unknown:

now that I know okay, I got my ducks in order. I'm gonna hand

Unknown:

it in soon and the accountant is going to be happy. And this is

Unknown:

it. We oftentimes want to procrastinate, because not only

Unknown:

we are a little bit lazy, but because of the unknown because

Unknown:

of uncertainty because of limiting beliefs. We feel like

Unknown:

we're dumb. We feel like Yeah, well, our siblings or parents

Unknown:

always told us we were disorganized and messy. So we

Unknown:

kind of have to live up to that statement now. And yeah, there

Unknown:

is no point in, in becoming a little bit more orderly. But

Unknown:

this is all in a reactive state, you are still reacting like a

Unknown:

little child to your past and resisting stuff that is really

Unknown:

not worth resisting. Don't get me wrong, this stuff worth

Unknown:

resisting and where it is needed and necessary for you to stand

Unknown:

up against. But when it comes to death and taxes, and the

Unknown:

weather, there is not really a big point in trying to resist

Unknown:

surrendering, and learning. Tax literacy so to say is is what

Unknown:

you can acquire and then at the end of the day, you will be

Unknown:

proud of yourself and you will feel like you got your shit

Unknown:

together. And nothing can buy that feeling for you. You create

Unknown:

it in yourself in getting a little bit more organized and

Unknown:

knowing that you can inspire other people to do the same. It

Unknown:

breaks my heart to see ladies and young gentleman starting a

Unknown:

business and doing really well and marketing and selling their

Unknown:

stuff. And then come tax season they have meltdowns and feel

Unknown:

overwhelmed and want to throw everything into a corner and cry

Unknown:

and feel like the biggest failure ever. Even though they

Unknown:

did really well all through the year. So

Unknown:

sit down, have a look at your numbers. Get your receipts in

Unknown:

order. Get your paperwork in order. And know that there is

Unknown:

amazing people out there who can help you and who can teach you

Unknown:

stuff to make things easier for you to not waste time and

Unknown:

energy. And it is a big part of our culture and this is why I

Unknown:

choose to talk about did hear it is part of everybody's life. And

Unknown:

we can make it an enjoyable experience. If we decide to put

Unknown:

a little bit of time aside to look at our numbers, and Season

Unknown:

One of the Borealis experience, I explain how, you know,

Unknown:

physical health is important. Mental health is important.

Unknown:

Financial Health is important. And taking care of your money.

Unknown:

Taking care of your paperwork during tax season is going to

Unknown:

deeply affect your mental health. And it's gonna make you

Unknown:

feel good when and if it's not making you feel good. Reach out

Unknown:

and ask for help. Is awesome accountants out there. That,

Unknown:

yeah, you pay them a lot of money, and then they have your

Unknown:

back. Or there's people out there who can teach you. And

Unknown:

then you have your own back when tax season comes around. All

Unknown:

right, this was just a little episode here for you today to

Unknown:

Yeah, remind you that some things we can escape and this,

Unknown:

there's no point in trying to resist to save your energy to

Unknown:

save your time. This is what I'm here for. And this is why I

Unknown:

choose to also talk about the uncomfortable topics that are

Unknown:

part of our daily life. I want to send a very, very warm thank

Unknown:

you to my sponsors. I don't want to say sponsors but to the

Unknown:

people that donated to the show you guys are incredible. This is

Unknown:

how I can keep going. Thank you so so much. And yeah, if you

Unknown:

have the time, jump over to Apple podcast and leave me a

Unknown:

review there. Or a five star rating is super sweet as well.

Unknown:

take really good care of yourself. And I will be out

Unknown:

there very soon. Bye bye.

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
