Hello, hello, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora, life coach and companion

Unknown:

on this beautiful journey called life. I'm so happy to be

Unknown:

spending some time with you. Thank you so much for being

Unknown:

here, I deeply appreciate you and wish you well, and hope I

Unknown:

can bring you value and goodness, honesty and hope into

Unknown:

your life. I was gonna say positivity. But positive is not

Unknown:

only a positive thing. Sometimes we just got to allow our

Unknown:

emotions to come out, we have to allow it to be honest. And

Unknown:

that's not always positive. I'm more a fan of raw and authentic.

Unknown:

So today, I want to talk about decision making my podcast

Unknown:

wouldn't feel complete. If I was not to address this topic, it is

Unknown:

so incredibly important to get to know yourself first. In order

Unknown:

to know what you need and want in life, what kind of people do

Unknown:

you want around you? What kind of job do you want, and what is

Unknown:

the overall environment that is going to make you thrive and

Unknown:

grow and blossom. Decision making plays a huge part in our

Unknown:

lives. We have big decisions that we make. And we have small

Unknown:

decisions that we make on a daily basis on an hourly basis.

Unknown:

And they're equally important because the small decisions,

Unknown:

they compound, right, they add up. And if you make lots of

Unknown:

shady small decisions, well don't wander that the big

Unknown:

outcome is also not going to be all too awesome. So there's two

Unknown:

ways you can approach a decision. And I've learned that

Unknown:

a couple of years ago, when I first got into learning about

Unknown:

coaching, and it is the approach number one, deciding away from

Unknown:

something. And number two, deciding making a decision to

Unknown:

awards, something or someone. So if I can give you an example

Unknown:

here, number one, making a decision away from something

Unknown:

means, for instance, I will meet up with my friend this

Unknown:

afternoon, because I'm sick and tired of being alone of feeling

Unknown:

lonely. So I'm making this decision based on something I

Unknown:

want to move away from. And I'm going to give you the counter

Unknown:

example here and then you will see and feel already, if you

Unknown:

haven't already in my tone and my voice that it is a huge

Unknown:

difference. Both from the outside. Both decisions look

Unknown:

like there's the same outcome, the same feeling the same

Unknown:

notion, but it is very, very different. So example number two

Unknown:

is going to be I'm going to meet up with my friend. Because with

Unknown:

her, I always have a hell of a time. We have a great time. We

Unknown:

have fun. I'm excited to see her. I'm excited to share my

Unknown:

latest news with her. And it is just awesome to spend time with

Unknown:

her. So again, decision number one was I'm deciding to meet up

Unknown:

with my friend because I'm sick and tired of being alone. I'm

Unknown:

moving away from my loneliness and meet up with my friend who's

Unknown:

going to compensate for that. Example number two is I am

Unknown:

desiring to meet up with my friend because As I know, we're

Unknown:

going to have a great time.

Unknown:

A second example would be that person that's called her

Unknown:

Ireenie. Ireenie is moving abroad. She's moving the ad to

Unknown:

England, from Canada, because she's sick and tired of politics

Unknown:

and the weather and Canada. She has relatives in England and

Unknown:

moves there. Example number B, or two would be, I have really

Unknown:

desires to move back in with her mom, because she's sick and she

Unknown:

feels she wants to take care of her. She wants to be close to

Unknown:

her. And, yeah, she's going to move away from Canada, to

Unknown:

England, because she feels she has a purpose in England. So I

Unknown:

hope those examples were clear enough. I hope I got the point

Unknown:

across that there's two different ways in approaching

Unknown:

decision making. And please, if there is a third option, or

Unknown:

fourth option coming up that I'm not addressing here, feel free

Unknown:

to shoot me a message and we can certainly talk about it. But

Unknown:

yeah, let's let's keep it to these two today. Moving away or

Unknown:

moving towards something. Now, you can certainly imagine that

Unknown:

if I move towards something I desire, I have an open heart,

Unknown:

I'm excited. Then my energy, my engagement, my excitement, my

Unknown:

you know aliveness is going to be way up there, instead of me,

Unknown:

moving away from something. And don't get me wrong, this doesn't

Unknown:

mean that one is better than the other it is, it is just

Unknown:

incredibly interesting. To get to know your mind a little

Unknown:

better. And to find out how you make decisions, I could

Unknown:

certainly come up with more examples here. But I think you

Unknown:

got the point. And it is just very interesting to find out how

Unknown:

you make decisions, because it will help you in the future. To

Unknown:

make decisions that are geared towards your highest intentions

Unknown:

towards your dreams, your goals, because it is this way that you

Unknown:

can then influence how fast or if at all, you are moving

Unknown:

towards your dreams and goals. If we keep saying no to

Unknown:

situations that would, you know, bring us closer to our goals. Or

Unknown:

if we keep saying yes to situations that drive us away

Unknown:

from our goals. It is very, very, very important to notice

Unknown:

these things. And I want to give you a little bit of a homework

Unknown:

here, I want you to let's say over the next week, maybe even

Unknown:

over the next two weeks. Observe how you make decisions. Do you

Unknown:

go to the fridge? And eat because you are hungry? And

Unknown:

decide to eat? Or is it because you want to avoid low sugar? And

Unknown:

yeah, we gotta eat on a daily basis and you don't really care

Unknown:

what you're going to eat? Are you gonna make decisions in the

Unknown:

future that you move away from or to awards to? And then go

Unknown:

even further and observe the people around you and see how

Unknown:

people make decisions. It is incredibly important to know how

Unknown:

the people around you function in order to be there for them in

Unknown:

order to connect deeply with them. And if you find that

Unknown:

little bit about them, then that was weird English. If you find

Unknown:

that a little bit about them. If you find out more about them,

Unknown:

then they might be aware of themselves. It's just a fun,

Unknown:

fun, engaging conversation that you can have with a person that

Unknown:

you care about. So

Unknown:

check in with you yourself once you switch to a different

Unknown:

podcast, or maybe go about your life or maybe fall asleep and

Unknown:

share with me, how do you make decisions? And yeah, that is it

Unknown:

for today. I hope I hope you're good. I hope you're good. I hope

Unknown:

that I can be a little bit of a stepping stone on your journey

Unknown:

towards healing and that I'm able to give you provide you

Unknown:

tools that help you to get closer to the person you want to

Unknown:

be. You're supposed to be and closer to your dreams and your

Unknown:

goals. Alright, I will be out there very soon again. I'm very

Unknown:

excited to be launching my website here soon Aurora Eggert

Unknown:

coaching.com where there will be a little quiz, fun and revealing

Unknown:

at the start. And yeah, I'm just excited for you to explore and

Unknown:

to find out more about my business that I've been working

Unknown:

on for the last year. All right. I leave you on this note and

Unknown:

yeah, take good care of yourself.

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
