Episode 3
Ep.3 Feminism ain't gonna get us far!
hey man,
hey woman,
today's episode is not as peaceful as usual haha
I'll be sharing my thoughts on the sexual consent app debate.
we need to learn to communicate clear
we need to be aware of our communication
we need to learn how to set boundaries and stick to them
we need to cut through the BS and not support aggressive bullies anymore. There is still too many women falling for the Asshole type of guy. just stop it :)
Men we need to understand you better, we need to listen more and most importantly : trust you again
we need each other so let's do this
feminists will be feminists that's awesome too but
I believe we need a little more unity addressing this foul part of our society.
cheers and with love always

Hello, hello, and
Unknown:welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm your host
Unknown:Aurora, and very happy to be spending some time with you
Unknown:today. Today might not be as relaxing, as usual, but it's
Unknown:just a topic I'm burning to talk about. It is about the sexual
Unknown:consent app, the debate, the discussion that is going on
Unknown:right now in the UK and the US. A couple women came out and
Unknown:yeah, pointed out guys that were mis conducting, mistreating
Unknown:harassing women themselves. Sorry. And now the government is
Unknown:trying to come up with ideas and stuff. And there's the talk
Unknown:about a consensual sex app, where when you go on a date, and
Unknown:it gets a little more intimate, you just click on this app and
Unknown:consent. And yeah, then go about your business. Of course, both
Unknown:parties do that. And I think this is absolutely dramatic,
Unknown:too, to know that we reached a point us heterosexuals that
Unknown:where we need an app to consent, and to make sure that we both
Unknown:want the same. I don't know how we got there. But I should know
Unknown:that we definitely need to communicate better and be on the
Unknown:same page more often, if not all the time. I think this problem
Unknown:that society is facing right now will not be solved with good old
Unknown:feminism. I think this is not a problem between men and women, I
Unknown:think it's a problem of power. And give me a second here it is
Unknown:a problem between men and women. But there's so many men out
Unknown:there who have good intentions, a good heart who are shy and
Unknown:humble. And we can put these guys into the same box, then
Unknown:these monsters who keep Miss Miss guiding people or misusing
Unknown:their power. Feminism was good in the 70s was good to a certain
Unknown:point. And it's still very, very good to get things down when it
Unknown:comes to equality. But when it comes to sexual harassment, we
Unknown:have to stick together after the me to movement, there were so
Unknown:many guys that came out and showed up for us women, and
Unknown:showed their support and their love and their respect and
Unknown:communicated it. And it was so beautiful to see. And those same
Unknown:man, we as women have to protect here and have to Yeah, set
Unknown:apart. Those are the guys that we need to conquer these other
Unknown:guys. And then I have a question for women like how can it be
Unknown:that we give those guys those aggressive bullies so much
Unknown:power? I think we still are guilty to some degree to fall
Unknown:for the asshole at times or to be too shy to set boundaries.
Unknown:And this is on our part we can learn to call those people out
Unknown:who behave in an aggressive way in in a sexually aggressive way.
Unknown:We have to learn how to communicate boundaries and how
Unknown:to be firm with them. And then we have to do everything to also
Unknown:be listened to and less of course again as up to the judge
Unknown:up to society. But they've been to many cases where women audio
Unknown:say that in English. They said something how And, and never
Unknown:anything happened.
Unknown:And then there's too many women out there who were raped, and
Unknown:decided to not speak out because they knew that it's not going to
Unknown:be a cheap piece of cheesecake to get out and talk about it and
Unknown:they're not going to feel supported and treated well, they
Unknown:will be questioned, and they will be put in a corner and
Unknown:mistreated mentally, even more and emotionally even more. So it
Unknown:is a very tough topic to address, I get that. But I think
Unknown:my message here is that we cannot fight that fight on our
Unknown:own. As women we need good man. If we want to talk about good
Unknown:and bad here, we need the good supportive, supportive men to
Unknown:fight this fight, we have to see that those women that were out
Unknown:there fighting for equality, standing up for feminism, they
Unknown:had babies, and those babies were not only girls that were
Unknown:guys too, and they raised those guys in a very good way. And
Unknown:there's more women out there who raise their boys in a very good
Unknown:way they respect women growing up, and they know how to
Unknown:communicate and know how to read what a woman wants and needs. So
Unknown:we have to, again, protect these men and take them by the hand
Unknown:and do this together. I hope this all makes sense to you.
Unknown:It's a very short episode today, because it's an intense topic.
Unknown:And I don't want to disturb you too much. I just wanted to put
Unknown:that out there. And hope you have a wonderful rest of your
Unknown:day. We need each other. I'm all for unity and good
Unknown:communication. And I'm very excited to be posting a new
Unknown:episode with Shaun Dustin soon, where we talk about stuff that
Unknown:we're not proud of we talk about abusive behavior, imperative
Unknown:behavior, and how we are supporting each other and
Unknown:helping each other out and can be better people now. And the
Unknown:toughest, toughest part for both of us was the day to realize
Unknown:that we were actually abuser. So maybe you can maybe you can see
Unknown:this, the opposite side and it's said to well take good care of
Unknown:yourself. And I'll be out there tomorrow. Again.
