Hello, hello and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora. And I'm so happy to be

Unknown:

spending some time with you today. I hope you're doing well.

Unknown:

It is Monday morning. And today I decided to

Unknown:

produce an episode for you

Unknown:

to be a little more resilient to the craziness that is going on

Unknown:

in this world right now.

Unknown:

So find a comfortable seat or lay down on the ground. Or maybe

Unknown:

you took me for a walk today. Don't be driving or operating

Unknown:

machinery though, because this is more a meditation style

Unknown:

episode.

Unknown:

Now,

Unknown:

if you are seated,

Unknown:

roll your shoulders up and back. Adjust your spine over your

Unknown:

pelvis.

Unknown:

And then tuck your chin a little bit to elongate your neck.

Unknown:

You can have your hands resting on your thighs, palms down for

Unknown:

more grounding sensation,

Unknown:

or palms up to the sky open to the sky

Unknown:

to be in a more receptive position.

Unknown:

Take a deep inhale

Unknown:

and exhale through your mouth.

Unknown:

Maybe you had a very restful and good weekend. And this episode

Unknown:

is to preserve the peace and calm

Unknown:

that you were feeling over the weekend.

Unknown:

If your weekend was disturbing,

Unknown:

and not so wonderful. And this episode here shall bring you

Unknown:

back to your inner peace.

Unknown:

Now focus on your breath. And inhale through your nose for

Unknown:

three to one, hold your breath a little bit.

Unknown:

And then exhale 1234.

Unknown:

Very good and continue breathing.

Unknown:

Maybe four is not enough for you. Maybe you want to go on a

Unknown:

count of five or six or seven or eight.

Unknown:

Find your rhythm of deep, focused breathing.

Unknown:

Sometimes when you have a hard time focusing you can place one

Unknown:

hand on your chest on your heart and the other one on your belly.

Unknown:

And then that makes you feel sorry, your breath even better.

Unknown:

You can maybe even feel your heartbeat.

Unknown:

If you're laying down on the ground

Unknown:

that your heels sink heavily into the mat. your pelvis, your

Unknown:

shoulders, the back of your head

Unknown:

in there as well. You can place one hand onto your heart and the

Unknown:

other onto your belly if that feels good.

Unknown:

No that no one and nothing can take that piece

Unknown:

away from you.

Unknown:

This sweet sensation of

Unknown:

deep relaxation

Unknown:

and feeling good with yourself.

Unknown:

No one can take that away.

Unknown:

And I want you to remember this for the rest of the day. Maybe

Unknown:

for the rest of the week.

Unknown:

Deeply memorize this feeling of peace and quiet.

Unknown:

Very good.

Unknown:

You

Unknown:

know, what I like to do?

Unknown:

When I go out into the world,

Unknown:

maybe for grocery shopping,

Unknown:

maybe for

Unknown:

other errands, I gotta run, going to the bank or

Unknown:

stuff like that.

Unknown:

I

Unknown:

first memorize, remember myself of the steep feeling of

Unknown:

relaxation.

Unknown:

And then as soon as something upsetting

Unknown:

is happening.

Unknown:

It can be while you're driving and someone is cutting you off

Unknown:

or something, I rush into birds perspective and look down on

Unknown:

myself and tell myself not this situation

Unknown:

is not gonna break my piece is not going to break my sweet

Unknown:

experience I'm having here on planet Earth.

Unknown:

This situation doesn't deserve the attention, or my energy.

Unknown:

So if someone is being rude to you,

Unknown:

I also tell myself a story. Why are that being rude? Why are

Unknown:

they upsetting me? Is it me and my triggers that that person is

Unknown:

tickling.

Unknown:

Or is that person having a bad bad day, or phasing her or his

Unknown:

life. And they're just taking it out on other people because they

Unknown:

don't know better.

Unknown:

And in telling yourself that story, you can boil things down.

Unknown:

And you can evaluate,

Unknown:

you can decide

Unknown:

is that situation really upset me know is that person really

Unknown:

going to bring out a reaction. And me that will cost me so much

Unknown:

energy and just be a waste of time.

Unknown:

See when you do these little meditations with me. And when

Unknown:

we're finished at the end of 15 minutes.

Unknown:

Imagine your batteries being full and juicy. And as soon as

Unknown:

you step out into this world, soon as you go about your day

Unknown:

and maybe are caught up in your thoughts again, be so strictly

Unknown:

with what you allow to suck energy from you.

Unknown:

And if you think about it with people, it's even easier because

Unknown:

you see them in front of you and you can walk away, you cannot

Unknown:

respond. You can respond in a kind way and then walk away, you

Unknown:

can decide

Unknown:

is that situation really upset me now is that person really

Unknown:

going to bring out a reaction. And me that will cost me so much

Unknown:

energy and just be a waste of time.

Unknown:

See when you do these little meditations with me. And when

Unknown:

we're finished at the end of 15 minutes.

Unknown:

Imagine your batteries being full and juicy. And as soon as

Unknown:

you step out into this world soon as you go about your day

Unknown:

and maybe are caught up in your thoughts again, be so strictly

Unknown:

with what you allow to suck energy from you.

Unknown:

And if you think about it with people, it's even easier because

Unknown:

you see them in front of you and you can walk away you can not

Unknown:

respond. You can respond in a kind way and walk away.

Unknown:

And is it with yourself that your brain your monkey mind is

Unknown:

sucking energy from you. Then you have to set boundaries with

Unknown:

yourself and sometimes that's harder because there's no one

Unknown:

really that you can look at or walk away from it is your

Unknown:

thoughts that are draining you. But with meditation you can

Unknown:

learn to have that monkey mind better under control and to

Unknown:

understand it and to turn the volume down if need be.

Unknown:

So again, visualize you

Unknown:

sitting or laying down, breathing in and out. And with

Unknown:

every deep, genuine breath, you fill up your energy.

Unknown:

And now if you go out, and about your day today, I want you to

Unknown:

visualize that battery, full and juicy.

Unknown:

And maybe

Unknown:

you can come back home and your energy your battery was never

Unknown:

drained. Maybe it was even charged, because he had really

Unknown:

good interactions with people. And he had really good response

Unknown:

to situations that would have triggered you in the path.

Unknown:

So tonight, when you come home when you're done with your day,

Unknown:

maybe when you're laying in bed,

Unknown:

visualize your batteries again and see what was draining me

Unknown:

today what was charging me up. And then tomorrow, you can make

Unknown:

better choices, or you go about the day, the same way you did

Unknown:

today.

Unknown:

It is all in your hand, your peace is under your control.

Unknown:

It is not the circumstances it is not the people that can

Unknown:

disturb you. It is you allowing them to disturb you.

Unknown:

Take a deep inhale one more time

Unknown:

to the count that feels comfortable for you.

Unknown:

Hold your breath at the peak.

Unknown:

And then exhale, let it all out.

Unknown:

Beautiful.

Unknown:

Breathe here.

Unknown:

internalize everything

Unknown:

I have

Unknown:

put out for you today.

Unknown:

And see if you can work with it.

Unknown:

Now bring your hands to heart center.

Unknown:

If you're sitting down.

Unknown:

If you are laying down, roll onto your side and slowly push

Unknown:

yourself up into a comfortable seat and bring your hands to

Unknown:

hide center.

Unknown:

Blow Your Mind to your heart.

Unknown:

May nothing and nobody disturb your peace today.

Unknown:

Not even your monkey mind.

Unknown:

Your mind is at peace. Your heart is at peace, your soul

Unknown:

constantly expanding.

Unknown:

May you respond in a way that people are maybe a little

Unknown:

surprised how come you are and maybe inspired by how much you

Unknown:

protect your batteries and are still a functioning member of

Unknown:

society out there.

Unknown:

We don't have to jump into assumptions, conclusions,

Unknown:

opinions and judgments all the time. Sometimes we can just

Unknown:

observe and see

Unknown:

what's happening around us.

Unknown:

Thank you for listening to the Borealis experience and the host

Aurora raw. And I will be out there for you tomorrow. Again.

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

About your host

Profile picture for Aurora Eggert

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
