Hello, and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Aurora, and I'm very excited to have you on board

Unknown:

here. With this second episode of this podcast, I posted an

Unknown:

intro where I introduced myself and gave you a little bit of a

Unknown:

rundown of what this podcast is about. In the first episode, I

Unknown:

was talking about self improvement, and what it means

Unknown:

to self improve if you're ready to self improve. And the most

Unknown:

important thing about the self improvement and growth journey

Unknown:

as said, as soon as you realize that you were in charge of your

Unknown:

life of your happiness all along. It was not your little

Unknown:

brother, it was not your daddy, it was not the school boy 10

Unknown:

years ago. It's a harsh reality to set in. And then it's really

Unknown:

important to not self isolate, and to not punish yourself and

Unknown:

feel bad about itself. Because most people don't ever wake up.

Unknown:

And the people who wake up and have the courage to change the

Unknown:

direction of their life and success and happiness should not

Unknown:

feel poor about themselves. Yeah, so that was the first

Unknown:

episode. And today in the second episode, I want to talk to you

Unknown:

about self care. And what I mean when I say, focus on yourself,

Unknown:

you are so worth it. That's my little slogan here. Yeah, be

Unknown:

kind to yourself, how does that look like in your daily life?

Unknown:

And why is it important because I feel it is the hardest to take

Unknown:

good care of ourselves. I still don't know why it is so hard to

Unknown:

change habits and to just be at peace. But maybe we'll find it

Unknown:

out together. Once again, please send me comments, questions,

Unknown:

share or like my podcast. The more feedback I get, the more I

Unknown:

can focus on your specific case, and maybe help you out there. So

Unknown:

let's dive in. Do you have habits you want to get rid of?

Unknown:

And are these habits reflecting how kind you are with yourself?

Unknown:

I think they do. I think when you look at people that are

Unknown:

successful and good looking healthy, beautiful. What I

Unknown:

realized when I observed people is that they are in tune with

Unknown:

themselves. They are authentic, they are integrated, like very

Unknown:

secure about decision making. So that's one big clue that you

Unknown:

will probably find out right away about yourself is how

Unknown:

secure Are you with decision making? How good do you feel

Unknown:

about yourself and your surrounding? And then let's go

Unknown:

deeper and see what are you made of? So who are you? Are you your

Unknown:

body? Are you your mind? So your thoughts? Are you your emotions?

Unknown:

Or are you spiritual? Are you religious? Are you your spirit,

Unknown:

your religion?

Unknown:

Is it your job that defines you? Is it your house, your car, your

Unknown:

boat? Things you own that define you? Or did you have a set role

Unknown:

in your community, your family and this is what defines you. So

Unknown:

take a moment here and think about yourself. Look at

Unknown:

yourself. You don't have to look in the mirror. But just see and

Unknown:

feel what you made off And I think if you can say that you

Unknown:

take care of all of the above your body, your mind, your

Unknown:

emotions, your spirit, your job, your position in society, then

Unknown:

you're being kind to yourself. It is very hard though, and I

Unknown:

don't know a single person me included, being successful does.

Unknown:

But that's not a problem at all. So let's start with the body.

Unknown:

How does self care for your body look like? For me, it's not so

Unknown:

much about polishing your nails shaving your legs. It is more

Unknown:

about do you breathe deeply? Now, when you tune into your

Unknown:

breath right now? Do you exhale fully? Do you breathe in?

Unknown:

shallow Lee? Is your breathing shallow? Or is it really deep

Unknown:

into your belly? So if you notice your breath, it gives you

Unknown:

a big clue of how you feel in this moment. How much water do

Unknown:

you drink a day? is water. something super annoying, or

Unknown:

like to drink? Or is it something that you can actually

Unknown:

enjoy and really be grateful for? Chances are if you listen

Unknown:

to this podcast, you live in a first world country and you have

Unknown:

water around you all day long as much as you want. You never have

Unknown:

to worry about having a shower or washing your clothing and

Unknown:

washing your hands. So how much for granted you take water, then

Unknown:

you food and take food as a huge topic. I will be talking a lot

Unknown:

about food and nutrition in upcoming episodes. But now if

Unknown:

you think about what you ate today, is it nourishing as a

Unknown:

Heidi process doesn't make you feel good? Would you cram in

Unknown:

your cram hole? Then clothing? Are you wearing comfortable

Unknown:

clothing or as add clothing that is there to help impress other

Unknown:

people? Do you feel good about your clothing or not so much?

Unknown:

And then movement? How much do you move a day? Few move

Unknown:

smoothly?

Unknown:

Or?

Unknown:

Do you don't even care about how you move? Are you clumsy? Do you

Unknown:

exercise too much? Or do you exercise moderately? Do you

Unknown:

really listen to your body's need? Or do you just follow once

Unknown:

your monkey mind the beautiful little monkey mind your ego is

Unknown:

telling you to do? Do you sleep enough? Is it an interrupted

Unknown:

sleep? Or do you have to get up often do you have problems

Unknown:

falling asleep. So those are all points that can give you a clue

Unknown:

of how good you treat yourself on a physical level. Your body

Unknown:

will always try to keep you in balance. But if you don't

Unknown:

provide him what he or she needs, then it will get sick it

Unknown:

will get sore It will literally make your life painful and

Unknown:

uneasy. So the body is always like for me as a physiotherapist

Unknown:

and yoga teacher. The first level of well being that I like

Unknown:

to approach because it's also the easiest to change. You can

Unknown:

change your breath. With training, you can change your

Unknown:

water intake, you can change your food intake, you can move

Unknown:

more you can do everything to sleep better. So it is really

Unknown:

the easiest way to approach your well being. I will go as I said

Unknown:

earlier, more into depth in following episodes, but this is

Unknown:

what I look at, when I take my first assessment of my clients.

Unknown:

And this is what I would like you to have as a tool to see how

Unknown:

healthy how good you are with your body. Then we have as a

Unknown:

mind, how does your mind function? When does your mind

Unknown:

feel irritated? meditation has been my biggest red flag,

Unknown:

actually meditation and yoga has been my biggest red flag for

Unknown:

many, many years. It was something that I kept at

Unknown:

distance as much as possible. And a year ago, I came around

Unknown:

and tried it out and realized it is super hard like for

Unknown:

everybody, and everybody finds different ways to meditate. And

Unknown:

that made it easier for me to start out meditating, because

Unknown:

before that everybody who was meditating just looked so

Unknown:

perfect. And every time I tried it, I just felt like ridiculous.

Unknown:

So your mind, does it play your tricks? Is? Do you really

Unknown:

identify with your thoughts? When something upsets you? Do

Unknown:

you feed into the thoughts that really get get you revved up?

Unknown:

The mind is really the most interesting part of the health

Unknown:

and wellness industry and self improvement and growth industry

Unknown:

because I think everything goes through the mind

Unknown:

is that it is there.

Unknown:

Where we control what we do and how we behave. And with lots of

Unknown:

training, we can unlearn things and behave differently react

Unknown:

differently, yeah, respond to a situation in a calm and good

Unknown:

manner. instead of reacting and jumping into feeling triggered

Unknown:

and feeling old wounds. ripping open again. The mind is really

Unknown:

the most beautiful and powerful tool that we have. And when we

Unknown:

learn to kind of put it in a backseat. Yeah, when we learn to

Unknown:

live from the heart from real, genuine, self nourishing

Unknown:

intentions, intentions that also benefit others, then the mind is

Unknown:

an incredible friend. But for most of us, there's people out

Unknown:

there who struggle with insomnia, with eating disorders

Unknown:

with anger, anger, problems with depression with physical

Unknown:

problems, and, and I feel all starts with the mind. The

Unknown:

physical ailments and emotional pain. All goes back to the mind

Unknown:

if the mind is cluttered, if the mind is unbalanced, unhealthy,

Unknown:

then our whole being and even our surroundings are suffering.

Unknown:

So through meditation, I want to give you a couple tools that you

Unknown:

can have on hand that you will have everywhere you go and

Unknown:

through following episodes here. I want to make you aware of

Unknown:

where you could still grow and then give you guidance on how

Unknown:

you can be better with yourself and feel better. When you go out

Unknown:

there in the world into the world. You got to excuse my

Unknown:

English at times. It's as you know, not my native language.

Unknown:

But I feel I shouldn't interrupt every time I make a mistake. I'm

Unknown:

just going to let it go. And we'll get better with time. This

Unknown:

was the second episode of the Borealis experience. I'm so

Unknown:

grateful you tuned in today, and next time we will talk more

Unknown:

about your role in society, your role as a family member, or your

Unknown:

role in the community. You live in your job, your emotions, and

Unknown:

your spirit. I'm very excited to be posting a new episode very

Unknown:

soon. Thank you so much for listening. If you liked my

Unknown:

video, please share with friends. And yeah, leave a

Unknown:

comment. More you comment? The more I can focus on your

Unknown:

specific question Take care of yourself

Also..
A little bit about me
Trust me I’m far from feeling, behaving or being perfect.
Perfection is nothing I’m thriving for yet I can say I’m proud of my path/ life journey.

I'm no longer enslaved to my #depression
I'm no longer a #rapevictim
I no longer struggle with #eatingdisorder
I no longer feel the need to hold on to fear, anger and resentment towards men.
I #create podcast episodes and videos several times a week to support and inspire others even on days I feel poorly.
I push through hard times while being gentle on myself.

I'm able to be consistent without feeling drained for the first time in my life because I found something that brings me joy and excitement and stills my hunger to support people out there.

I try my best to understand people’s harsh opinions that are not in alignment with my values .

I learn every day on how to express myself better in a foreign language

I no longer use being bullied back then in school as an excuse in life to not show up for myself or others.

I ask questions, really annoying questions, in order to experience my environment and to find out what is best for me and my people around me ..
Yes, I still feel triggered in many situations.
Yes, I feel depressed and discouraged at times but I embrace it and don’t let it define me anymore.

Doing all this allows me to meet incredible people along the way.

People who:
- inspire me
- encourage me and ignite my deep compassion

I'm grateful for all of you and I’m so happy that I can learn from you and grow together with you .

We are all together in this beautiful mess called life
Thank you for being here

Lots of love and respect

Aurora Eggert

Hello there,
Born and raised in Germany under the influence of French culture I got a taste of how people perceive life and situations totally differently depending on how and where they grew up. this ignited my deepest curiosity for human behaviour at a very young age.

Being always more of an introvert and observant child I absorbed a lot of stuff that to this day weigh heavy on my soul but on the bright side I can say that these experiences make me relate so much deeper and better to the people around me.

I understand pain. I know suffering. I know how it feels to feel misunderstood.
People say I have a warm, soothing vibe and I enjoyed many years working as a physiotherapist in Germany.

Today I’m more venturing towards bringing healing through podcasting/ Life coaching and yoga. I also encourage people to spend more time out in nature and have a Yurt set up in our forest where I host regular relaxation classes.

I would like to call myself a perception shifter because this is what helped me on my path of (ongoing) healing - I’d love to offer perception shifting thoughts/views in order to make people feel more real and their life easier and their relationships deeper.

I’m also passionate about bringing awareness to locally grown food to people’s table as I’m certain that feeling empowered and real starts with what you nurture your body with and what you absorb with all senses from your environment on a daily basis .

I live in the Rocky Mountains
Raise a couple chickens Free range for eggs and grow a beautiful vegetable garden with my grandmother, fiance and mother in summer.

Podcasting became my passion because I can reach people all over the world- Give hope, make people feel less lonely and self-empowered. Furthermore the interviews with people from around the world expand my horizon and help me heal my soul.
Bonnie my pitbull is always at my side.
connect with me and share your story on my show .

Love ❤️
A.
